Report a Disability Related Accessibility Barrier in Canvas

This form is for reporting accessibility barriers in Canvas course content, specifically disability-related access barriers under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504. Meaning, these are issues that prevent you from fully accessing materials due to a disability-related access need.

If something in your course (such as a video, PDF, PowerPoint, or image) limits or prevents you from accessing the course or any course material, please let us know so our team can review and address the matter promptly.

Examples of Accessibility Barriers:

  • A video without closed captions
  • Audio content without a transcript
  • Images without alternative text
  • A PDF that cannot be read by a screen reader
  • Course content that cannot be navigated using a keyboard
